INTRODUCTIONS
I started my business in 2015 and what first struck me as I started to photograph people with their families, is that I found myself playing a crucial role in the milestones of my client's lives. Suddenly, I was helping people celebrate their bond with their loved ones. I found joy in making art for my clients, by creating a large family portrait, capturing the ring exchange at a wedding, or recording a quiet moment between a mother and a new baby.
I see photographs as family heirlooms, something to be handed down through generations. At the end of the day, when I wrap a client's photos and prepare them for the reveal, I take a moment to just enjoy their photos. That is, I finish the job with the same enthusiasm and sense of awe as when I started, the first phone call, the consultation. Our lives are art and should be treated as such.
